Liquid Limousine Charters
Our charter company offers a one of kind boat experience in the waters around Anna Maria, Longboat Key and Sarasota Bay. Your excursion can include tubing, sand bar excursions, dolphin watching and romantic cruises.
Jimmy Seaton, Master Captain for Liquid Limousine Charters has been fortunate enough to say that he has had a lifetime of experiences in the area’s waters. As a child, his family came to Longboat Key regularly to visit local grandparents. “My Grandfather always had a boat ready for us to use” says Captain Jimmy. At about age 12, Captain Jimmy figured that this would be THE place to come and start a life after college.” I have been a Longboat Key resident since 1986, and like so many other residents of this area; I can’t imagine living anywhere else! A great amount of my own enjoyment comes from the water and its creatures. It is a true joy to now be able to share this with our clients” says Captain Seaton.
I am a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain. I also hold several certificates and endorsements pertaining to water travel.
50 Ton Master Captain License
S.T.C.W. (Standards of Training, Certification for Watch-Keeping)
This is international certification for personnel aboard vessels at sea which involves extensive training in several areas including advanced first-aid, advanced shipboard firefighting and rescue, rescue at sea, lifeboat operation, survival techniques, and in-water survival, as well as many other safety aspects of offshore vessel operations.
Radar Operator- Oceans Unlimited
This training involves current radar technology as well as other methods of collision avoidance. Quickly plotting several ‘objects’ in the water and analyzing potential threats, as well as corrected courses for your vessel. This certification is usually held by actual Radar Observers on large ocean-going ships.
Radio Operator – FCC License
This license is issued by the FCC in order to establish qualifications to operate your marine radio in international waters. Requirements include background checks as well as knowledge, restrictions and use of equipment. The Bahamas and many islands require this if cruising in their waters.
This is an endorsement issued by the U.S.C.G. on a Mariners License. This is the type that a tow-boat operator would have. This certification allows the Mariner to engage in for-hire tow and salvage operations. The value of this knowledge and certification seemed obvious to me, and it thoroughly increases your understanding of a vast range of safety and boating issues.
Liquid Limousine Charters operates it’s own fleet of Federally Documented Vessels. These boats PROUDLY fly the American flag and must adhere to ALL United States Coast Guard Rules and Regulations for operation of For-Hire Charter Boats. This means that you can rest assured as to the quality and inspection of Safety Equipment as well as the Training and Certification of our staff.
